Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI melalui Direktorat Pembinaan Kesenian dan Perfilman menyelenggarakan Pergelaran Orkestra Nasional dalam rangka Persiapan Pembentukan Orkestra. 


Pergelaran ini menampilkan Franki Raden dengan tim Indonesian National Orchestra (INO), dan Purwacaraka dengan tim SMKN 2 (Sekolah Menengah Musik) Yogyakarta. 








Pergelaran Orkestra Nasional ini dimaksudkan sebagai Persiapan Pembentukan Orkestra Negara yang nantinya akan bersaing dengan orkestra negara lain di dunia internasional. 
Pertunjukan akan berlangsung selama 60 menit dengan menampilkan tim orkestra dibawah pimpinan Franki Raden dan Purwacaraka sebagai Komposer Senior Indonesia. Adapun acara ini terbuka untuk umum / tidak dikenakan biaya apapun bagi masyarakat yang hendak hadir.
